Looking for some quality podcasts to listen too? In order to save you time wading through the thousands of podcasts out there, I’ve compiled a list of thirteen of the best podcasts. These podcasts cover technology, politics, economics and everything in between. These podcasts are not listed in any order, I just wrote them down as I thought of them.

The Disciplined Investor

The Disciplined Investor offers a unbiased look at investing. The show’s host, Andrew Horowitz, has a great variety of interesting guests and covers a wide variety of topics. My favorite aspect of the show is Andrew’s non bias towards being a bull or a bear. He simply talks about opportunities to make money. By the way, in 2008 his fund finished a couple of percent up. I don’t know about you, but I think he knows what he’s talking about.

This Week in Tech

This Week in Tech is the best show for tech news and some random talks about technology. The shows host, Leo Laporte, has an awesome variety of guests and covers all of the best tech stories. While many people complain about the excessive rambling in the show, I find that the rambling is usually interesting and entertaining.

NPR: It’s All Politics

In It’s All Politics, NPR’s Ken Rudin and Ron Elving get together once a week and cover the week’s top political stories. Ron and Ken are both incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to politics, but manage to keep everything fresh with humor. Like almost all NPR podcasts there is no political bias in It’s All Politics.
